Waiting for my pentax k-5

I have to express my feelings, im begining to be realy mad.

I`ve sent my pentax k-5 for repair (sweden) and i have been waiting for a month and a few days now.

The camera is in belgium, and the swedish repairshop authprized by pentax sweden cant say when they are getting in the replacements cameras.

Becouse they cant get an delivery information from pentax belgium!

Im very mad im im starting to think about changing brand. But i just baought a new sigma 150 500 .

Okey im realy pissed off, but im not going to change brand becouse i would loose to mutch money on it.

I wish you get your new K-5 soon. This situation is far from ideal, I agree. Did you ask for a change because it had stain on it ?

Yes it was stained

Na it helped a little . But im still pissed off

Pentax should fix this problem by letting me get a new camera from the store i bought the stained camera. Hopefully il get a stain free camera

Ei se meilläkään ole paremmin. Lähetin K-5 takuuhuoltoon kennon tahrojen vuoksi 1.2.2011 tuli takaisin 10.2 ja vika oli edelleen samat tahrat. Soitin huoltoon ja pyysivät lähettämään K-5 takaisin tutkittavaksi. Lähetin K-5 uudelleen 11.2 ja ei vielläkään ole mitään tapahtunut. Onko kusetusta tai osaamattomuutta en tiedä.

Hi,

You can call the distributor "De Beukelaer" in Belgium.
The number is: +32 3 870 59 00, ask for the repair department.

They are very helpfull, and will give you a status update on the phone.
Make sure to have your serial number and shopname who send the camera in at hand.

Belgium has begun to take stock (counting stock). I start wondering if I even get to see my camera again. (i belive they are ouy of stock)

I will have to wait even longer says the service point in Sweden.

How long?, they dont know.

1)
'My' stain issue was confirmed mid December by the local Pentax repair facility. I'm still waiting for new stock to arrive so my K5 can be replaced; and that stock must come from Europe So a month waiting is nothing
2)
I however still have my K5 The local agent told me to keep it till it can be replaced and use it as much as I like.

But I feel your pain

Tuli tieto K-5 vaihdetaan uuteen. Saan omani, kun maahantuojalle tulee kuorma.

Kannataa olla jonossa niin asia hoituu nopeammin. Niin tietävät tilata enemmän vaihdettavia laitteita.

It took 5 weeks (in Norway) from I shipped it, until I got a replacement yesterday.
Now I have a "stainless" K-5.

Minäkin odotan K-5. Minulla on ollut kymmeniä kameroita, eikä yksikään ole viellä ruostunut.
