OK, who's going to be the first to dude-up their camera with glued-on skulls, spikes, beer logos, and motorcycles?

Anyone?

Anyone?

I like Christine's shot of the Bike Frame with :

CAUTION. Read Safety Warning In Owner's Manual

Which then goes on to say 'Hello Kitty bike customisation is a danger to the sanity of any civilised road-user'.

Why thank you very much you are so kind!

If you want to say Hello to Hello Kitty, you can read my blog entry of me attending the main parade at Sanrio Puroland (this is the theme park featuring Hello Kitty and her friends)

I really enjoyed the show - and when all the red bows lit up at the end I broke down and cried and cried.

Anyway, I liked it so much I bought the DVD, and took the trouble to write down every line of dialogue and all the song lyrics (in Japanese) and translated them to English (I can't claim 100% accuracy - my hearing is not too good!):

Actually, as long as you like it, I think it's cool. Would I do it? Never. But then that's a whole different deal...

And I'm a guy btw too!

I had to hide my k-5's eyes from the screen when this came up.... oh the injustice! What a thing to do to a handsome camera. It's degrading. ...and its a matter of personal taste It's not for me Christine, but go for it gal.

Actually I'm hoping it makes the camera harder to steal (although since everything is removable, maybe not).

Just like my bike - I used to lock it up all the time, now I just leave it on the street and no one dare touches it - because everyone knows it's "my" bike. It's so recognisable I often get other cyclists shouting my name when they see me cycling - makes passer bys confused - they must think I'm a celebrity or something :-)

You have always sounded like someone with lots of great ideas and well I havent changed my mind. No I am not being sarcastic. You know you might be onto something big here. Hello Kitty is massive in Japan where I am living at the moment. Originally from your neck of the woods. Wait untill Pentax get wind of this. You could also try blinging the k5 with some other Japanese fictional characters as well if you can remove the Hello Kitty decorations that is. They are removable aren't they???

Being a Hello Kitty aficionado, I think you definitely need that snazzy AR-15 Hello Kitty Assault rifle...
