Hi Sasikantt - your profile shows you're in the States, so you should find everything you need here:

Digital Cameras and Accessories - Official PENTAX Imaging Web Site

Pentax has recognized the problem and is repairing or replacing the affected cameras.

Contact Pentax USA and they will send you a pre-paid UPS label for your camera. You only need to return the camera body itself. I think right now, they are still replacing these. It takes about a month for the entire process so if you want to Use the camera for an event or something special, do so before starting this.

What are the other spots outside of the central zone? I have them on my K-5 and cannot remove them with a pressurized blower.

They May be dust and need something a little stronger than a blower to remove them.

The sensor stains, from following the history of it and my own experience, have 2 distinct patterns. The string of pearls as shown in the OP, and a more wide spread splatter, like the one on My camera.

Welcome to the club. I did a special image showing Every Little Problem in my system. Turns out I had front element dust, rear element dust, sensor stains, and a hair in there somewhere!

Man, just think - If I would had never done all of the special editing to this pic to make all of the imperfections show up I never would have seen them! Imagine that!

But on a more serious note: it's going back for cleaning/repair as soon as my new-to-me K-10 gets here. The stains were really, really visible in stacked lens macro photography.
