Well, after much patience and a final wet clean, I've got my sensor back to original condition; i.e., pristine, except for the tiny little speck that I tried to remove in the first place! Don't know what it is or why it won't budge, but being in the far lower right corner of the sensor image, I don't see it causing a problem and not worth further fiddling.

Some things are best left alone.

I had the same problem with my K-5.

I use a Sensor Klear and it would leave extra dust spots, but I just took a blower to it and the dust was gone.

I've used a few different methods and found the Pentax lollipop to be extremely effective in picking up hard to budge dust spots.
