Impressive Exposdisc shots.

Does anyone use a Whibal card (google for Whibal) with the K-5?

This card is simple to use either hand held, used with the supplied stand or when just chucked onto the ground.
In portrait work, (Flash or natural light) the card is placed on the supplied stand & positioned immediately next to the subject.

In use, one takes a shot of the card and then a subject shot. The card shot is then used to adjust the subject's White Balance during editing.
Batch editing can be done of all images taken under the same lighting conditions.

I haven't used mine yet with my recently acquired K-5 as I have been too busy checking out all the features of the K-5.

Regards,

Kr vs. ExpoDisc vs. Kodak

I get hold of a white car to demonstrate the White Balance between K-r AWB, ExpoDisc & the white side (90%) of Kodak Gray Card. The ExpoDisc is a more portable & durable version of Kodak Card, based on my experience.

ExpoDisc indoor

Yes, the ExpoDisc definitely carry a "warm" bias because the AWB in most digital cameras are overly corrected, according to their Tech Support. I haven't done a direct comparison indoor, but this Tungsten lighted photo was taken by ExpoDisc white balance.
