Thanks, 2. and 3. pictures are great by the means of sharpness, are there any PP'in involved? also are your pictures in your gallery taken all with the K-5?

Edit: Sorry I've seen the infos on the bottom of the pics now.

Can you take a screen shot of aliasing that you are seeing, with the image zoomed to 300% or so?
Maybe I should explain - the aliasing I am getting is when I display the images on my screen as I would usualy do 25-33% ratio. At 100% it is correct.

Here's a screenshot of my 1600x900 laptop, but I get the same on my PC screen as well. This is not a complaint, I understand a sharp image will have those type of artifacts, apologies if I misused the terminology a bit, I wasn't trying to make it confusing.

Look at the denim bag on the upper left corner.

Then what you're seeing is the result of the downsampling algorithm of your software - nothing to do with the camera and it's AA filter.
Bwt hard to see anything on that tiny pic in your screenshot.

Ah, that explains it. What you are seeing is the result of Photoshop doing quick downsampling to display the image at less than 100% zoom on your screen. It's not the K-5, and it's not the photo. As long as you are not seeing aliasing at 100% or higher on screen, there's no aliasing in the image.

side by side old and new

This is done with my previous K-5

https://www.pentaxforums.com/forums/1469599-post36.html

and now I tried to replicate the same boring shot using the new one. It is slightly front-focused compared to the first one, and the light conditions are slightly different, but it gives exactly the impression which I already had. In my opinion the image quality is better in the new K5. The images have better colors and contrast - dont you think?
