Dust Removal

I know this will sound strange, after folks complain of noises coming from their camera. I have had my K5 a few weeks, and after shooting at Ft Davis, I noticed some spots, I used the dust removal option, and did not hear or feel a thing. Coming from a Kx, I am used to feeling and hearing the dust removal in action. Is this Ultra sonic removal that quiet?

Yes - you cant hear it or feel it, but it works. And it works better than my K20D did (even though the K20 sounded like an electric drill when the dust removal operated!).

I haven't had to wet clean either of my K-5s, and they've both done probably 12,00 pics each.

I probably will have to when I get back from this trip. I got caught in a serious sand storm at Hueco State Park, and saw a mark or two on my shots, I used the sensor cleaning, and it is still there, I will get the blower out and hope for the best
