K-5 settings P2

Dwld the manual, K5, is it me or it just dosent give 1 enough info,,
took about 50 pics today And used about every mode possible??

I know how to tweak a camera, Me K10 works like a dream...
Is there settings in the K5 menu, that i need to switch on or off

Sorry, I don't know what you're asking here.
What's wrong with your image? It looks OK to me.
Your K-5 is not unlike your old K10D. The main exposure settings and camera layout are quite similar. Please tell us what you feel is not right with your K-5 for us to help you better.

This pic was me only good 1, out of 5, of the same pic..K-5
I set me k10 too manual 160sec/F8/ISO 400 and it takes a good pic(outdoors)
The k5, same settings lense,,and Highlights/dark areas are slighly over,or under exposed,,

The exposure shouldn't change if you use the same exact settings- are you using a different ISO perhaps? And do you have fancy stuff like expanded dynamic range, etc enabled? Also, the lighting conditions could have been different.

Just reset all your custom settings on the camera, shoot in JPEG using the standard 'bright' custom image preset, turn off all lens and D-range settings and you should be fine.
