BTW, Amazon has the body-only for $1,298 (free shipping) right now, slightly less than adorama and B&H.

The same reason I got my K-5 from Amazon. Great, no questions ask service if you have a problem or if you just decide something isn't quite right. No hassle returns.

Thing is that if you lived in NYC you'd be paying 8.75% more due to sales tax. Same with Adorama. But it is nice to play with your new camera on the subway ride home.

I've never had a hassle with returns to Adorama, no questions asked, replacement or store credit or refund. I'm fairly certain that B&H is the same, I usually shop at Adorama because it's more convenient for me and I'm known there.
