slow / fast focus k5

I use continuos mode , jpeg, fast 43 Limited lens, spot focus, not continue auto focus but standard, but I still find autofocus too slow in normal light condition outdoor. Is anyone who knows other tricks to do fast focusing sport photography , particular in sport scenery?
Thank you,,
Gregor

What sport(s) are you shooting, and what do you mean by "sport scenery"? Do you have an example you can upload as the term "sport scenery" has really piqued my interest?
