BTW, just in case you don't know -

for the SR (Shake reduction) you dont have to go to the menus, just push the "Info" button and the quick access is displayed to you. Same for other functions.....

As does the K10d IIRC. Any of the shooting modes that they recommend SR be turned off, they've turned it off. The switch becomes redundant at that point.

+1 -- It wouldn't be a bad idea to learn to use the camera before deciding you hate it.

As to your other questions/comments, they've been answered and in most cases, the same way I would have.

Welcome to the club.

By the way... On the ergonomics and function (re-arranged buttons, etc), I had the same complaints as you when I bought the K7.
