As does the K10d IIRC. Any of the shooting modes that they recommend SR be turned off, they've turned it off. The switch becomes redundant at that point.

+1 -- It wouldn't be a bad idea to learn to use the camera before deciding you hate it.

By the way... On the ergonomics and function (re-arranged buttons, etc), I had the same complaints as you when I bought the K7.
