T-Dimension and codes on E-Bay

I'm looking at buying the K5 from T-Dimension. Seen it on TopBuy but not many people have used them. I just keep thinking about the price difference to the shops. $1800.00 compared to $1120.00.

Anyway T-Dimension on E-Bay have codes in the title. What do they mean?

A1175, A1886........... the later the code the more recent the camera?

Thanks you

The warranty has gone from 2 to 1 year on recent ebay or T dimension webstore listing.
The 31Ltd is still listed more than US$1200 while it is on special with Adorama and bhphoto at US$999.00.

Re T-Dimension

I cant give any feedback re T-Dimension warranty dealings (thankfully) but I found them excellent to deal with and very very price competitive. $A1259 for the K-5, with kit lens, spare Batt, screen protector, 8gig SD card spare batt. case etc. Fast service to my door to isolated address (HK-Oz 5 days) and regular updates. Even useful
assistance with our $1000 GST import issue. The K-5 is a beautiful piece of kit BTW.
Good luck. Nogster

Thanks all. Just wondering what the codes were on E-Bay. Model numbers? Going to order direct through T-Dimension anyway. Can't wait.

I can't help you with TDimension's codes. But I have used TopBuy and was happy with their service.
(My main purchase was a Canon lens for my Canon-toting son - quick service and the price was right!)

Codes might have to do with what accessories they're selling it with?

Sorry I didn't mean there were no retailers charging that $1,800+ price, but that there are large retailers charging low $1,500s (eg JB-Hi Fi) and mid $1,500s (digital camera warehouse). I'm sure a couple of hundred dollars would come off the Ted's price pretty fast with a simple question. Sticker prices are very very negotiable with only one exception I know being DCW.

You would hope so, I wonder why their price is so high compared to others? How can you hope to stay competitive when they're so out of touch with prices?

I don't know, I guess it's the "sucker price". I'm not complaining though, it's the people paying the sucker prices that are keeping B&M camera stores open here.

I asked in JB HI and they said $1800.00 and wouldn't budge. I haven't seen it any lower than that price myself.
