K5 to remplace my K-x?

Your gallery looks very good. Are there any problem shots you want to point out? The ones I looked at are nice.

About the metering I'm using the full one (I think it's the 16 segments). And for the focus I'm using both but I've found that the AF-C is too slow! So I use the the AF-S and I'm following the subject and pushing multiple times the AF button while the action is moving.

Viewing the EXIF I see the problem is the focus point selected mode is 'AUTO' - the camera probably chose the back wall because it was less confusing.

You should have used Center Point because as is it is framed the player's glove would have been the focus target.

Switch to focus point center for your next session and see how it goes. (Camera menu 2, select AF point) pick the one with the single dot in the middle of the box.

By the way Crewl1, how did you know about the focus point on my photo? I use a Firefox EXIF plugin and there is nothing about the focus :S

I used PhotoME. - PhotoME - Exif, IPTC & ICC Metadata Editor

It gives extensive exif information.

The one you are using , center-weighted average, looks like it is giving good results.

I think the only change you can try is the AF change to use center point only.

Here's an update : Galeries - Grenoble - Villard (2j. Coupe de la Ligue)

I used AF-C but is there a way to temporary block the AF to a point ? Like I'm aiming the goalie and a player goes in front of him. I still want the focus on the goalie and not the player. Is it possible with the K-x? with the K5?

The gallery shots look great!
I don't see a way to block the focus when using AF-c, at least not in the K-5 and I believe the functions are similar in the K-x.
You can view the K-5 manual here, focus is in Chapter 4.

You can do this with AF-S, by depressing the shutter halfway and holding it at the required subject distance. You can't control AF-C, the camera will continually check and refocus.

Otherwise, I think i might have an idea. If i'm using the AE-L/AF button to AF and desactivate the AF on the shutter button. It might work, right?
In that case, I lock tu goalie, and when there is something good to shoot, then i'll do it without refocusing again.
