Very happy with K5 and limiteds.

I don't need AF. I practice street and macro with my K5 and Smc-a 28/2,8 and Tamron 90. Talumar 50/1.4 too. Cheap lenses, great result. 100% viewfinder gives very exact compositions

I don't know. I have the K5, and have shot a lot of low light just to play with high ISO, and I really never have problems. If your using spot focus, and are not looking for speed. you should be fine.

My K5 focus wasn't accurate with some lenses I have, especially my 77mm LTD. But since the camera has adjustment and after playing around with it, now it's 100% spot on.
I think if you do that for every lens you own, you will be fine.

After being with olympus and then panasonic I decided to come to Pentax. And btw, I loved my olympus camera and the lenses and not having a canikon. But I also love my k5 and especially the 43mm f1.9.... This is a great system... One of things that made me choose pentax was the ability of the camera to be small and portable when I wanted it to be, but that it didn't mean that there weren't also the option of big fast lenses. No other company has that possibility. I can take my k5 out with the 21mm on it and then come home, add the grip, and take out the 55-300 (and I know that isn't a big fast lens, I just decided to only refer to lenses I own!)...

Well it is simply to say yes to your question I miss Olympus in your history?

My advise is to buy the K-5 since it is a wonderful camera. You wil enjoy it, since it is a great camera. Way better then *Ist-DL2 | K100D Super | K20D | K-7.

If you are uncertain, you could certainly rent a K5 body and see how you like the way it handles and feels.

Compared to the K10, there is no contest. K5 is really good. The only place where I see it lagging Nikon still is in really low light photography and focus tracking (although its pretty decent in both areas).
