B&W dilema

My new K5 keeps defaulting to BW in green mode and I have scoured the manual, but I cannot seem to change it. Any help? Thanks.

You might want to try changing to the effect that you want, shooting a couple of shots, then turning it off. You could also reset it to the factory defaults.

I don't own a K5 yet, but isn't the custom image settings still accessible thru the fn button? If they are you can switch it to Bright or Natural from there.

reset worked, but curious as to what would put it in BW mode. BTW, thanks.

Perhaps one of the settings in USER mode?
