M and K lenses, how to use them on the K5?

I have two Pentax Kx and one K5. I use many manual M, K, and Supertak lenses in my Kxs. I stop down with the green button, or the +/- button and every thing has been fine with my Kx. The Supertaks are used in Av mode with no problem. However, I would like to know how to use the M and K lenses on the K5. Is there a green button (that can be assigned a function?, I can see a green button, but do not know what to do with it. I have not found info on the manual. I appreciate your input. Thanks, Pepe.

I thought I read someplace that the K-5 had some sort of "improved funtionality" (whatever that means) with non-A lenses, but I've not been able to find info on that anywhere. Does anyone else remember seeing that, and maybe know what it meant, or was I just hallucinating?

The default behaviour of the green button in M mode is to set a 'correct' shutterspeed for the aperture that you selected on the lens taking ISO into account. It closes the aperture and measures after which the shutterspeed is set.
