Well my new K5 finally arrived today with the 18-55wr, and the 55-300 will arrive tomorrow! Yea!

Thank you all for helping me over the past 12 months to choose the K5. How did you do that? by posting images. That has been one of the biggest selling points to me of the K5. nevermind the reviews, and magazines etc, nothing shows it of like the images people post.

So thank you all very much, now if someone can tell me how to turn it on I'll get started and discover how hard it is to move up from my beloved Fuji Bridge camera,lol.

Ukwoody, congrats on the new purchase; I also caved in the other day to the recent price drop and put in an order for the k-5. The only thing I got today is the card from the postman that I need to pick up from the nearest postal outlet store... ah, may be tomorrow, I can enjoy the excitement on opening up a new box.... (I just want to check to see if it has 'zero' actuation count....

as many have experienced). I am surprised to see the price being cheaper in Canada now than in the US (usually its the reverse), in addition to one more year of warranty.

Wayhey, apparently the 55-300 has arrived and is now awaiting my homecoming tonight... cant wait does it show? haha
