Finally Joined the K-5 Club :)

Traded in a couple of pieces of equipment and ended up paying $300 for a $1029 K-5 here in Edmonton at McBain Camera. This is going to be fun!

Welcome to the k-5 club... I also recently upgraded to the k-5 from k-7.... (k-7 is still good, but k-5 is better and opens up a lot of possibilities for creativity).

Here is a casual street shot today using in-camera HDR with bracketing with just one shutter trip; I have to experiment with it more to see how I can make the cars moving forwarding instead of backward. Without HDR adjustment, the shaded area would have been very dark. Hope you enjoy using your k-5 too!!

You're really going to enjoy the K-5...It's fabulous.

To make those cars go the right direction, it should work by changing the order of HDR images taken. Menu C2

Cheers

That's a really cool use for HDR.

If you specifically want to do multi exposures there is a menu option to take...multiple exposures! It has been around since the K10d, and will average the metering and weighting of each frame. The HDR is probably looking the way it does as it likely gives weighting to the properly exposed frame of the HDR, then blending the highlight and shadow frames where appropriate.
