Well my new K-5 arrived today! *very happy*

quick question: I recently used a K10D so I kinda know how it works but at the same time no..

How do you turn off the top LCD light? can't find it in the manual

Otherwise very pleased with both size and weight on it.
Best thing: I picked it up new for about 1040 USD on sale!

it goes for 1175 USD here in Sweden at the cheapest

expensive: yes, but who cares? I got one now

now some sleep, off to work in 6 hours..

You can turn off the panel in the Custom menu on page 4. You can choose High, Low, or Off for the LCD illumination. (In the English manual it is on page 37 and 92.)

Congrats on the new camera. I believe it is custom setting #22 on custom menu #4.

Here is a picture taken late last night with internal flash, F4, 70mm, 1/125 sek and a HDR layer.

I know it's a little dark but what do you guys think?
