Hi all you K5 user's, Ive had my new K5 just Over a week or so now and ive had a one off problem with the auto focus not focusing and just searching all the time, I switched it off then tried it the next day, same problem but then the camera locked up this time none of the control buttons would work couldnt do anything with it apart from take the battery out, Bingo all ok and working again any suggestions

They do lock up sometimes- the new firmware version that's coming out should address some of the bugs that cause this.

Thanks for your reply, I thought my camera was faulty, I take it Pentax Know there is a problem hence the up dates you mention,
No need to contact them or return my K5
