Is the new K01 suppose to be the replacement for the K5?

Not a chance. There's a chance it's a K-r replacement, but more likely this is a new line.

It's a mirrorless camera- not a DSLR. So no. It's not a K-r replacement, either.

It's the first of a new series of cameras which will (hopefully) grow to dominate the market.
