TOUGEFC,
I have FA 43, thinking of FA77 / DA 70 -> Your suggestion and why?

I own the 15 and 35 ltds. The 15 is definitely my favorite of the two, even though I suspect the 35 is better, optically.

I also have a couple FA Limiteds -- the 43 and 77. The 77 is definitely the best lens I own, period. The funny thing is, though, of these four limiteds, the DA15 is the only one I cannot imagine being without, at this point. It is probably my most-used lens, and I definitely did not suspect that was going to happen when I first bought it (or even in the months that followed).

I have DA 15, 40 & 70, as well as FA 31, 43 & 77, and e FA* 85

All special for different purposes, but if I could only keep two Limiteds, it would be the DA15 and the FA77. Same as TOUGEFC.

The DA40 & 70 are great general purpose lenses with no real weakness. But for intimate natural light people pictures, the FA77 is something special.

But I couldn't choose between FA77 and FA85

DA15 no question, hated that I had to sell it but its use was too specialised.

I would get a lens with a focal length that is not already covered = 15.

I'm surprised so many like the 40mm that much. I find it a strange focal length on an APS-C sensor. On a FF sensor I'd love it. But this is of course quite subjective.

I hoped to hear something more of "objective" matter than "subjective"... but, what to expect.
I think we all finally end in searching a little bit of magic.

My favorite DA ltd is the DA15. The "best" DA ltd is the DA70 which is unbelievably sharp.. But the best ltd is the FA31 which is on another level.

From the responds, it seems to suggest:

Buy all the limited! DA and FA inclusive.

Haha i might have to buy them all.

I am really considering the 15, 21, or the 70/77. I know i need to decide which focal length i want but i can't seem to make up my mind lol. Which do you think has the best IQ overall? If some of you could elaborate on why you love each lens that might help, as well as posting pictures! Thanks

Without question, without a shred of doubt, positively and undeniably, the best Limited lens is the 15mm...period!

Coz it's the only one I got!!

(So far!)

I have DA70mm (just few days) and I love it in every way. Some may say it could be faster, but as long as I am not chasing the thinnest DOF, so far 2.4 is good and that sharpness I get...And I could buy a 77mm limited (used) for more money, however I was not sure about AF speed (it's important to me) and I do not like these abberations.. I used to own 40mm but then I took an arrow to the knee and sold it
