What is your favorite DA limited?

I'm currently on the hunt for a new lens. I would love to pick up another Limited... But I can't seem to make up my mind. I currently have a DA 18-135 and the DA 35 2.8 macro (which i love).

What are your favorites and why? Pictures would be awesome to see as well. Thanks!

15,31 and 77 . My three best amigos.

So my answer would be the 15. Unique look, small size and endless posibilities.

I favour the 21mm because it seems to be my most used focal length.

I also have the 43 & 70, they are both great as well. Got my eye on the 15 as well

My favorite is the 21mm and my second is the 35mm macro. The 21 mm spends the most time on the camera. I often would like it to be 18mm but then I need to think about the composition a bit harder and I do much less point and shoot. But that is true using with all primes.

I think VW-michael should say a bit more about the 15mm as he seems to have some interesting ideas that could help your choice.

For me, its my 35mm ltd. I love the focal length and its highly versatile. With it, you can shoot macro and landscape no sweat.

I own DA 15-21-40-70mm limited lenses. Out of them, my favourite all-around one's probably the 21mm. Just because of FOV, IQ-wise they're all good enough for me.

I also own the 15-21-40-70. The 15 is a recent purchase so I've only had it literally for less than a week, so I haven't experienced the full "magic" that this lens is supposed to offer. My most used lens is the 40mm. Great IQ, small, fast autofocus. Since you already have the 35mm, the focal length of the 40mm may be too close to what you have already. The 21 and 70 are also jewels, so if you want a slightly wider perspective than your 35, the 21mm fits awesomely. If you want some more reach or have a nice portrait lens, the 70 fits the bill.

RagingWinds, you have the wide focal length range 18-135mm zoom. Which focal length in that range do YOU prefer having probably used many different ones?

Yeah but the main addiction with the 15 is to always have it pointed at the sun! Comes as a relief to see a shot taken which doesn't contain a sun with its 14 rays.

Personally it's always been the DA70Ltd, perfect portrait lens, and the only one that didn't cost me a penny. Company asked me to take some shots for a web site... and I stated that it would require my getting a better class of lens!

The only Limited I own is the 40, but I love it on my MZ-S.
