Dust Removal...no vibrations?

OK, just got my K-5 and thus far I think it's a winner... However, screwing around, I figured I'd run the dust removal. Going from the K-r, that thing would shake pretty violently and was very audible when you selected the option. On the K-5, I can't hear or feel anything unless I practically press my ear against it when. Normal or not?

Yep thats right the k-r is very violent vibrations the k-5 does it ultrasonically. You almost cant hear/feel it.

Interesting... OK, I've had such a hard time with the K-r I'm just being very picky with the K-5. Putting it through it's paces while I can still return it

Very big difference between the "drop a quarter to make the bed vibrate" K10 to the lesser (but faster) vibes of the K20, to the almost imperceptible K-5 chirp.

If you do the cleaning in a very quiet room, and you stick your ear to the rear LCD, you might hear a very distinctive, high pitched chirp.
