It´s getting brighter up here in northern norway; so much so that for the first time, i´m shooting at f22-f29. I´m also using Lightroom on a big, fat mac for the first time, and it´s screen is huge, so perhaps thats why i noticed this as well. Anyway - i noticed some specs, circular thingies in a lot of my pics, namely those including a lot of sky and @f29. @f22 they are gone or almost gone, and at f8 they are not noticeable at all. Is it dust, or is it stains? First f 29, then f22.

dust, get a blower

stains would be far more visible and in any case they haven't been reported in over a year

Definitely just a bit of dust. Try a blower, and if that isn't enough, get a soft, clean artist's brush to gently loosen the dust, and then blow it out again.
