Exposure Bracketing: Why not faster?

LOL, you should re-name your blog to "photography mythbuster", because just about every techinical concept I thought I understood about photography is changed everytime I read a new article on your blog. Whether it's camera equivlance, MP = noise, or mirror slap.

That proves nothing by itself - that might as well just show that Canon was able to build a faster mirror moving system than Pentax did.

Actually it proves alot, it proves that what you said about the A77, being able to do 10FPS because it doesn't have a moving mirror, is wrong. The moving mirror does not have anything to do with that.
It all relates to the mirror, shutter and buffer. Those three make up how fast your fps can be, with the buffer being most critical, then shutter and then as last the mirror.
