I tossed the idea around about getting Henry's extended warranty when I purchased my K5. I ended up going with it. I think it was a good idea. I called up the store today to confirm what their exchange policy is, and after 15 days, your SOL unless you bought the extended warranty. It covers me for 90 days now. I've had a couple of issues, and called them about it. They said no problem. They just need to order one in, and they'll exchange it for me. For once in my life I did something right.
Just to let you know why I'm exchanging it...
1. I've had one lockup on it. (I knew this could have possibly happened, and I wouldn't return it just based off this, and this was before I did the firmware update)
2. I turned it on yesterday, and the back display didn't come on. When it was turned on, it looked like the pixels were melting. (for a lack of a better term) After I turned it off and on again it was fine. To me that's not a good sign, so I think I'm better to be safe than sorry.
