Best lens

The DA 16-45 F4 is a good performer and can be had reasonably cheap. I use it on my K5 all the time

Lots of great lenses.....all for different needs....the one I would give up last is the Bigma 50-500. If you shoot wildlife, it works wonders on the K5 where it will focus much faster than ever before and render some nice smooth bokeh and rich but natural colors. Squirrels say "don't come outside without it! "

I stand by my recommendation of the DA 16-45mm though.
