I don't see why it wouldn't be, just save a copy of your receipt/invoice as proof of purchase. Hopefully you will never need the warranty. At $879, I'd go for it, beats the $899 I picked mine up for a couple weeks ago.

Don't count on the warranty. They have to be an authorized dealer. Give them a call and see.

I generally avoid those websites for purchase.
I've been burned before, and I'd rather buy from a user with a 0% feedback on the forum marketplace.
But then again...I'm quite pessimistic, I believe.

Either I shop at web retailers I trust (Amazon, B&H, Adorama, etc.), or I shop at authorized dealers.

But at that price, it sure is tempting, isn't it, Geekette?
