Is it just me, or does K-5 AWB render a bit cold?

Hi

The second image is still not quite right.
Disclaimer: My system is fully calibrated (it is a professional setup) so you may see it quite a lot differently on your monitors. But for what it is worth here is what I come up with. Note, the silver of the cam now is silver.

I know from experience that correct colour in pictures often is too cool for a lot of folks. This is not meant as a derogatory comment, it is just the way it is.

The difference may be the image tone setting. The K5 default is Bright, while the K20D is Natural. I was getting similar results when I switched from my K20D to the K5 and figured out it was the image tone setting.

I wouldn't worry about it. I don't know how many people see as I do, but my left eye actually sees things ever so slightly warmer than my right eye. I noticed it years ago.

AWB on my K200D was near perfect in every shot (except snow, obviously) but my K5 is nearly always too blue (based on readjusting based on neutral grey in lightroom).
