It's definitely not truly dust proof because mine has dust in the viewfinder. Of course the lower-cost WR lenses aren't as well sealed as the DA* lenses, so there's a potential problem spot.

The DA* are rated dust proof but thats lens not lens + body, Oviously if you ever change a lens dust will get on the viewfinder, Sensor and every where else.

How long did it take to the neck strap to dry??I reckon you should go deep sea diving with it next time
