so after 1 year ownership, I finally tried this......

ok today I am brave enough to try this after own k-5 for 1 year...
right after the shower, the sd card does not work. no matter how many times I took it out and in
then I just took battery out and in, then it works fine now...

update
unfortunatley....there is water goes inside viewfinder...

Do keep in mind that WR means 'water resistant' not water proof.

WOW! Good to know. Makes me more confident shooting in bad weather. I think I've been a bit overly careful so far and never quite trusted the WR rating completely. But this is really impressive.

Nice! I guess I shouldn't fear if a drop or two hits my camera!

I've definitely taken far more water-drop images since I returned to Pentax after a few years of insanity

Brave gambling If camera had broken, what next? Instead here is big stunt make Pentax engineers laugh, marketing brains turn over...

Everybody already said WR isn't WP; water-tight isn't gas-tight either.

I think now to de-humidify camera...

Well no matter how brave you are to do this, this picture needs a naked lady or at least one in bikini
