awesome demonstration!! I wonder if the DA 18-135 WR or D FA 100 WR would stand up to the same conditions as his 50-135, 16-50?

I don't have the 18-135, but I'd love to test one if you don't need it between December and February (the time to send it to me and then get it back)

I do have the 100mm, so I may add that to the test next time I do it (winter so I can also add snow/freezing conditions).

My assumption is that they would stand up to the same, especially the DFA 100 WR - I've had it pretty covered in dust before (not intentional), and no issues. The only difference (read: my assumption) would be that they would require a more immediate need to be cleaned/rinsed off, whereas the DA*'s would be able to focus and most likely zoom (after a quick rinse).
