Best 90 bux I have ever Spent

I just bought and installed an S-type screen from focusingscreen.com, and I must say, it is without doubt, the best $90 I have spent in m life (well, camera related that is).

If you have fast manual focus lens, then this screen is an absolute must. What's in focus just "magically" pops out. No more need to switch into live view and battle the sunlight, lag time and battery drainage.
I was playing with my Revuenon f1.2 after installing the screen this morning and wow. Just wow.

And the installation is super easy. It took me 5 minutes and I was being anal. Even then, most of the time was spent opening up all the parts from their plastic packaging.

Congratulations on it as well as the easy install, I tried swapping out screens one time on my old K2000 a few years ago and scratched it =P

No. Comes cut with a selection of shims and tools.

S type. I've got the af version with minimal markings. Works fine.

It is really nice to have, I have noticed a significant improvement with ALL of my lenses.

In fact, it's the other way around, IMO : it improves it!
If you're using stop-down lenses, this screen removes a major hassle brought by the optimized stock screen: the metering non-linearity with regard to the aperture used.

Another proof of this screen's good metering behavior: you get similar results with liveview...

Is there a way for somebody, who doesn't have a clue, to know exactly shich shims to use?

I once tried replacing the screen of my K20d, and it was a complete drama. I spent hours getting the stock screen back in without dust.

I just put in one and took some shots with my 50mm f/1.4 @ f/1.4, focusing at a small object 5ft away. At first I tried with the original pentax shim and focus was way off. After that with the first provided shim I tried I had perfect focus every time. Lucky me

As for the dust, just turn on the (hot) shower for ten minutes, turn it off, wait a couple of minutes to get moisture levels down a bit and then change the shim in the bathroom ...

Oh yes with the K-5. But I doubt it would be much different with the K20d .
