patterns you find in nature rarely have fine straight lines that line up with the sensor mesh to trigger moire...
so, fur and feathered creatures are ok :-)
i understand that you are into buying a IIs, my advice is to wait and see real life tests of the camera before you buy it, i'm sure that for the little furry creatures it will be wonderful, but if the moire is very visible in other situations i would think about it twice...
all in all, i'm optimistic that the k5IIs will be an excellent camera with super sharp results, and that moire wont be much of an issue, but, as with everything, i have to see real life samples to make sure it'll suit my needs before i make any move.
