Doubt it, I don't think the detail is there. The way I understand moire is that you have to have patterns at sensel like repetition before it becomes especially apparent. Maybe someone can correct me on this.

Rope like that is made up of very fine fiber twisted over and over and over. Here is a 100% crop from my Sigma 50 1.4 at F2:

As you can see - if the twines are fine and in a constant pattern, it could result in moire under certain circumstances.

Now, whether or not the k-5II is susceptible to such patterns, that's another story.

I was looking at the back of a duck the other day through a 90mm tamron lens and the interaction between the ees focus screen pattern as i panned created a moire effect. The feather pattern is fine and repeated. It will be interesting to see what the k5IIs produces.

I believe it does come with a "blanket" warning, from Pentax website: "where camera settings, lens selection and shooting conditions are controlled to prevent moiré".

The pattern has to be regular, at the right spacing and preferably contrasty. You'll be OK as long as you don't shoot architecture. Or small print - https://www.pentaxforums.com/forums/pentax-dslr-discussion/201734-k5iis-worth...ml#post2140464

Ihad some moire issues with fabrics doing some shooting for a webshop. Mostley tops with a very fine pattern and some glance in the fabric. That would give some problems, but not the rope.
