Please do not post just to get your count up. There is nothing in the manual, nothing on the internet about how to adjust an out of level, auto level. If I'm wrong, I'll buy you a steak.

You will have to send your K-5 in for this adjustment, call the pentax agency in your country.

PS, Don't worry, I am mot getting my posting count up "... frankly my dear, I don't give a damn..."

Perhaps what sqjaw was trying to convey is if the manual doesn't tell you how to do it, you probably can't. It's one those things we'd like to have fixed, but I doubt Pentax changed anything.

sqjaw the unofficial rules on being called would dictate you don't count that post count towards anything super important. I on the other hand just scored.

The weird thing is I was asking about a camera I don't own...so I don't have a manual.

Mark, or maybe Mark,
I don't know how to respond to this, your either ballsy as all hell or hell bent on shaking things up around here. Hope you get that level thing sorted, even if it isn't a real problem your having. I get what your laying down or it could just be the cold medicine clouding my thinking, and one more big ole score.

Peace everyone. I apologize for responding the way I did. I have a K-5...actually two. I'm as annoyed as a lot of others, that the level is off by 3 degrees and I have to send in the camera to get it fixed, and then the experience is only occasionally successful. So...I asked if anyone knew if the new K-5 II's would have the ability to calibrate this without having to send it in.
"Read the manual" was about as helpful as an online chat with ATT. That's all. I know that is a common and appropriate response on forums like this, but in this case...it was silly. I should have let it go, but my printer was acting up at the same time and I was not having a good day.
