K-5 Discontinued @B&H

Pentax K-5 Digital SLR Camera (Body Only) (Black) 14748 B&H

And Pentax does it again- they've only got one DSLR in stock right now. Where's that mark 2 at?

After hemming and hawing for a couple of weeks, I decided that I couldn't wait for the K-5IIs anymore (especially with the F1 race here in Austin less than a month away). I went to the B&H website last night and the K-5 was officially listed as discontinued. Back to square one for me. Wait (and hope) that the K-5IIs ships by the 1st week of November or find another alternative (K-5 from another vendor or a K-30).

Just received my K-5 from BuyDig thanks to the post in the Price Watch thread. I see it is currently showing $829 (would be $803 if the code BGSaveACool25 is still valid). As shemezar noted, it was $819, so was $794 after code applied.

My K5 just showed up today from B and H Photo. She's a beauty! I bought one of the last ones that they had.

Clearing stock is maybe smarter then ending up with stock no one will buy.

I hope that the II/IIs aren't going to be delayed by more than a week, but we'll see...
