Well I'll add my auto focus observations after receving my K-5II just 2 hours ago ($860 free 2-day prime delivery on Amazon)..... Yes, the K-5II focuses much better in low light. I did a side-by-side comparison, where it simply was too dark for the K-5 to lock on, where the K-5II after a little hunting locked and got the focus accurate. Also, I am wondering if AF is also performing more accurate on my 50-500mm telephoto zoom lens. I need to play some more with it. Overall, when it locks, it is locking correctly, which was a bit of a hit or miss on the K-5, even in brighter conditions. Overall I am very pleased so far. Too bad the AF on the K-5 had some issues. The K-5II is what the K-5 should have been...
