When it is stuck you can just turn the lens off and look what is stuck, the mirror or the shutter. Most likely the shutter.

For me, it was the mirror. Sometimes it would stick up; other times it would stick down. Now it's stuck in Arizona!

Now it's away for repairing, I send it last week Monday to Pentax Benelux service, I am still hoping...

The K100D arrived, unmarked, 6535 actuations, pairs nicely with the K-5, top lcd and all
