Why is camera shake a problem?

525 mm

At maximum range with the converter, you are effectively using a 525 mm lens on a 35 mm camera. Shake reduction helps but you will still have to shoot at high speed or get some support or both. J

Let us know how image quality compares to lens w/o converter - I recently acquired the 60-250 and am looking to extend it's reach. Best of luck with your lens!

Your SR probably isn't working proparly since it doesn't know that it is a lens with a max off 350mm instead off 250mm (if I'm not wrong).

I was going to suggest that as well (if you review the images in-camera it should tell you the recorded focal length...if at the long end with the TC attached it says 250mm then SR isn't going to be working properly). You'd either have to enter FL manually (not sure if that is possible with a non-manual lens?) or turn SR off and make sure to use fast enough shutter speed (likely 1/500th or faster at the long end).

Better to turn SR off when shooting with TCs, the SR confusion will shake your sensor instead of stabilize it.
