From today's Coronation in London; St James's Park, and crowds in the The Mall, a long road leading to\from Buckingham Palace. The crowds were dense and I decided to use my phone to get a picture of the new King as he went by. I couldn't use my K5 because I 'd have to hold the camera high to get a shot and couldn't be sure of what I'd capture. Kit lens and a little PP in Photolab 3

Doesn't anyone take their K-5 IIs out for a walk in the fresh air anymore, or what?

Since I got the K-1 I’ve only used the K5IIs a handful of times. I now have three DSLR cameras not getting used. I’ve tried selling one, but no bites.

Nice industrial black and white work by the way.

The 50 macro is stuck on the K-5 IIs for me, in good lighting conditions an all-rounder. Altogether a wonderful combination, very light and I have almost no scrap freehand.
Often have it with me when I'm on the road with the bike.
