Bird shots with FA*600 + K5IIs
Goldfinch

Great tit

100 % crop; there is some false color on the wing; sharpness is very high, though (no additional sharpness, used default settings of lightroom)

Some examples with only some contrast and brightness correction. Big size in Flickr.

Some cropping on this last one.

I find the K-5IIs sharpness amazing. The AF is also improved. I've been using the kit lens and the results are amazing, of course the DA* also give impressive results. Amazing camera.

What lens were you using for the Red truck and sun set shots? Look gorgeous!
Thanks for the comments. Those were with the DA 21.

K-5IIs with DA 55-300mm

K-5IIs with DA* 300mm

I've shot hundreds of frames of fur and feathers and the supposed prevalence of moire with the K-5IIs is overly hyped. The above uncropped photos have merely been resized with no sharpening done. The K-5IIs is just so much better than the K-5 in so many ways.

Amazing shots there Creampuff! Got to love the K5IIs, it is the new standard!

Some ISO 3200 shots cropped with f3.5, the PP is so much easier with this camera;

K-5 IIs + FA77 Limited

1/160 f2.5 ISO200...

100% crop... btw this was an SOOC jpeg image shot at 6mp. The level of detail is amazing and frightening at the same time. I wonder how it would look like in RAW

Exactly! This was shot raw and rezied to 3GB. I can't imagine its sharpness at original file size. This is really crazy! This has to be the most under-rated camera of the year!

PS, still no moire.....

You know it is strange that you are from Manila. Yesterday I had lunch at Josephine Restaurant located at Takaytay overlooking the Lake Taal. Tropical Storm Wukong may have spoilt the photo session but the food was really good!

Whoa, you were in Tagaytay? That's a great place. It's such a nice spot, quiet, full of life, beautiful scenery. I am not sure if they're still offering treks to near the crater of that small volcano inside, but if they still are it's a recommended hike One of the best sites for landscape photography near Manila. As to food... try out some freshly-cooked puto bumbong. It's sort of a rice cake. Really great snack/dessert.

I was in Cavite that time (just over the other side of Tagaytay), and yeah, the storm cooked up a little too many clouds for shooting the wide, grassy fields, too bad.

Thanks Alizarine!

While on the way to Takaytay we dropped by St Joseph;

Not bad for a cropped ISO3200 @ f2.8
