The tripod was not on level ground, but with a gimbal head, it is not big deal as long as you are not making panoramic shots.

Yep, you made Otis happy! I liked that little birdie in #4 a lot too. All of them were "FS Wonderful!" as Otis would say!

These make great BBQ sauce .....they have a nice "Woody" flavor!

Should have the K1 in a few more weeks...this MF shooting is getting me down. Then I can send in my K5IIs for repair and hope they can repair it. Why? Well, for anyone that owns a K5IIs they know why...it is a fantastic camera!

Regards!

Don't worry about the squirrels in a thunderstorm...it won't even slow them down!

One frame away from the one I posted the other day...I think this one is better. I just missed it when I was processing.

I cloned off the end of that branch for better appearance. I know it is cheating, but he was on the Cheater Branch. Otis said cheating is fair for anything on a Cheater Branch. Otis even recommended that I draw a mustache on him....

Regards!

Nice one Rupert! Ask Otis what the white ring is in the eye...reflection or something? Exif says flash was off...just curious.

Eric, thanks! ...Otis says it is a parasite that will eat out the birds brain and render him more worthless than he already is. I won't argue with Otis!

I think it's Rupert's reflective front lens which has cataract since its AF failure

FS- This lack of AF is killing me....and although I can adjust ISO I have no exposure compensation either. It is just hit and miss....mostly miss. With aperture locked wide open, the lack of control is very frustrating.

One where the focus was decent......it was one out of six.

Both the portrait and landscape shot with K5-IIs, Tamron 17-50 F2.8 for the portrait and Sigma 10-20 for the landscape.

Not the sort of thing I normally care for...but I do have to say that is superb and beautifully done!

Guys....I am not posting much if any...the light here in this particular season has made shooting with my crippled K5IIs almost impossible. I am waiting for the K1 so I can send in my K5IIs for possible repair. If not repairable, I will try to find another one......even with the K1, I want to have a K5IIs...best Pentax I have ever owned!

Regards!
