New firmware for K-ii and iis due tomorrow (17th January)

It already is the 17th of January. It's a website being hosted in the Japanese timezone. It's 9:55am there as I type this.

I wish they would copy the custom function No36 for AF "SEL" mode from the K7 - on the K5IIs the ok button requires a one second press to switch to AF select or to change picture controls... it is a rather irksome when you try to change the AF point and you end up putting the camera into Mirror lock up mode..

When I updated my K5IIs I didn't see any changes - least no changes that affected my use of the camera. Stability improvements are always welcome though.

Yes yes yes !! That is the only thing that irks me after upgrading from the K-7 to the K-5 II.
