K5
Set Mode to AV
Press the shutter release half way with 1/125S & f8 displayed
Press AE-L & 1/100S & f8 displayed
Press shutter & image taken at 1/100S, f8
OK. It's only a 1/3 Stop but forgive my naivety but surely the way the K10 functions is correct
It's too soon to know whether my issues with AE-L have been resolved but if 'pushing' the shutter speed (Av Mode) down 1/3 stop locks the exposure, then I guess I'll live with this little anomaly!!
Doesn't occur on my K-5 in Av mode. Is this offset (-0.3 stops) consist with other shutter speed & f-number values?
I do a lot of outdoor sports and I usually set -0.7 EVcomp if sunny or -0.3 EVcomp if overcast, so -0.3 stops would not bother me at all. (I'm a raw shooter, so adjusting rendered image brightness in PP is normal for me.) But anyway I always use TAv for sports (and indead a lot of other shooting).
