K5 Time lapse sequence from our blizzard

Crazy amount of snow for our area. Kids moved the tripod at the beginning of the sequence, so perspective moves a little. One picture every 5 minutes.

Haha, cool! Though I must say that your the kids improved it as I like the slight movement.

Very cool. My house in Farmington, NH which I currently rent out got 34"...now that's alot of snow. Can you imagine what would have happened if the storm stalled and stayed over New England for another day?!

That was fun to watch. Gives me something new to play with during the cold weather. Thanks.

Thanks for the replies. Having a picture every 5 minutes allowed me to calculate the rate of snowfall. At the peak we got six inches of snow in one hour!

And still some people seem to find snow "nice". Go figure.

Well done, though!

Um, I think this is now on the front page of CNN. I can't watch it at work because of my crappy work computer, but the front image appears to be this video!

Wow, that's interesting, it's not there now, maybe it was just up there for a short period of time. Only 400 views, so I don't think it could have been there long if it was. Thanks for letting me know though.

By the time I got home from work it was gone, but there was briefly a caption about seeing 3 feet of snow fall in seconds.

Oh. That is too bad. I couldn't watch the clip because my stupid work computer has some ancient non-working version of flash and I would have to get a special dispensation from IT to update it.
