Consider any computer that the images will eventually be downloaded to. If one is stuck downloading to a physical platter hard drive of any size (even above one terabyte), that in downloading either the 256 or even the 128 you'll actually cause issues with the hard drive. Also imagine trying to defrag a hard drive after all of that data goes onto it. Plus even if one happens to have a SSD drive; most only come in either a 480gb or typically (for this point in time) 600gb capacities.
Thats ok , my computer will handle it just fine ... 256Gig even , but I was thinking 64Gig for a back up SD card since they are cheap enough ..
I will have to check what firmware version is on the K5 ...
Oh , I was not planning to ever fill a SD card ( the best laid plans ) , just wanted to know what the camera and my wallet can handle .. Thank you .
