It's not fun to send away your camera for an indefinite time and reports of third party grips crating weird problems are recurring on the internet for all camera brands. Also the warranty doesn't always cover damage due to third party accessories so in theory you can end up paying for the service. Of course something can be wrong with the camera but eliminating sources can save both time and money.  | |
