...is missing from the K-5 I just bought secondhand.

Does anyone know of a way to get one?

Pentax Denmark say I have to go through a dealer, so I expect there could be a cheaper way?

Regards

I have the same problem (lost it myself) and I got redirected to the Swedish service center. Though the price is the same as SRS Microsystems has it for in Britain so I guess all we can do is pay the very high price for a some cheap rubber.

The man who sold me the camera says he has found them on Amazon - at a reasonable cost - and he has ordered one for me.

I haven“t looked it up myself, but....

Could well be.

I damaged the viewfinder rubber frame of my K200D, and detected there is a company selling (assumed) chinese copies for € 6.85 including transport on eBay. It looks and feels exactly like the original one.

EDIT:
If someone is interested: it was the German photo equipment trader Phototools24, who mostly deals with Chinese imports. I have bought seveal items from them, never a problem.

They sell worldwide. Probably not so interesting if you live in the US, but maybe for members living in one of the smaller European countries.

SRS seems to be the slightly cheapest place at the moment, they had it at a higher price some time ago. At 9.99£ I think I'll buy one.
